Terms of service

The terms for using webpilot.si and the hosted WebPilot.si gateway.

These terms cover the hosted service at webpilot.si and api.webpilot.si (the "Service"), provided by Clane AI ("we", "us"). The open-source server you run yourself is covered by its own licence (AGPL-3.0, or a commercial licence), not by these terms.

1. Your account

  • You need an account to use the Service. Give us a working email address and keep your password and tokens safe. Tokens act as you: anyone who has one can drive your browser.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what agents and programs you connect do with it.
  • One person per Personal account. Team and Enterprise workspaces may have several members, each with their own role.

2. What the Service does

The Service runs a browser for you on our servers and lets your agents and programs drive it through MCP and a REST API. It keeps your browser profile (cookies, storage, open tabs), saved sessions, downloads, recordings and the credentials you store in the vault, so that the browser can act as you on the sites you choose.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for websites and accounts you are allowed to use and automate. You must not use it to:

  • access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access, or get around a site's access controls;
  • send spam, run scraping that breaks a site's terms or overloads it, or commit fraud;
  • attack, probe or disrupt other systems, including ours;
  • store or process material that is illegal where you or we operate;
  • resell the Service without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, puts others at risk or that we are legally required to suspend. We will tell you why unless the law or a security risk prevents it.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to your content: what your browser stores, the credentials and files you give us, and what your agents produce. You give us the permissions we need to run the Service for you, and nothing more. We do not use your browser content, credentials or recordings to train models.

5. Plans, usage and payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Usage beyond a plan (overage) is charged only if you turn it on. Prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.
  • When a plan's included browser-hours run out and overage is off, your browser stops at its next idle moment and new connections are refused until the next period or an upgrade.
  • You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted service unless an Enterprise agreement says so. We may change or retire features; for changes that reduce what a paid plan includes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time. We delete your data within 30 days of deletion, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example invoices).

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], and its courts have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
